At the Artichoke we aim to offer the best possible neighbourhood restaurant experience. Our kitchen team, led by Laurie, who has gained invaluable experience and inspiration working with other professionals, most recently with Rene Redzepi at the 2 Star, Noma, Copenhagen, create refined Modern European menus featuring the best of the season’s ingredients including an array of foraged herbs, berries and flowers.
The restaurant itself was recently refurbished, and offers an attractive, intimate room combining the best of the building’s historic features with stylish, contemporary touches for comfort. Outside a newly planted “Living Wall” of aromatic culinary herbs makes the Artichoke’s courtyard a popular spot for aperitifs or for dining al fresco on warmer days.
